What you need

• a coffee filter
• thread or string
• tape
• paper and a marker

How to set it up

1. Tape four short pieces of thread to the edge of a coffee filter and tie the ends to your elf's hands.
2. Hang the parachute from a cabinet knob with a strip of tape, so your elf floats just above the table.
3. Draw a big X on a sheet of paper and set it below as the landing zone.

Safety

Keep the thread out of reach of babies and toddlers, and take it down after breakfast.
