What you need

• paper and a marker
• a few mini marshmallows
• a few pieces of O-shaped cereal

How to set it up

1. Draw a tic-tac-toe board on paper and set it on the breakfast table.
2. Put one mini marshmallow in a square as the elf's move, and leave five cereal pieces beside the board.
3. Sit your elf next to the board. Each night, add one more marshmallow move.

Safety

Mini marshmallows are a choking risk for kids under 4. With little ones, play with paper X's and O's instead.
